Our priority will always lay with our customers visiting us here at Poulaphouca, and your health, safety and happiness is paramount to us. With the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we have put in place a number of processes to follow when we reopen which are focused on the health and safety of both our guests and employees, without compromising the quality of your experience with us. All of the below follows all of the latest HSE and Government advice so we can ensure that you enjoy your time with us at Poulaphouca House & Falls. Our Covid-19 Guidelines: • We are adhering to all of the latest information, protocols and guidance from the world’s leading health experts and government authorities, including the HSE and the WHO, to ensure our guidelines have the highest possible effect. • We have heightened our already stringent practices around food handling and preparation. The same applies for all sanitisation, disinfection and cleaning of the various areas that will be in use to the public. • Additional training is being arranged for our employees prior to their return to work in accordance with the Return to Work Safely Guidelines from the HSA, the HSE and the Department of Health. • All of our Staff will be washing their hands regularly and our staff interacting with the public will be wearing masks. • Our service staff will wear disposable gloves and face masks during all service. The spaces in our main bar will be closed to the public to allow our staff to utilize them freely as all drinks will now be available via table service only. • All food will also be brought to your table, with no buffet options available for any events. Bills can be emailed rather than printed if requested and ideally payment can be as contactless as possible. • Our restrooms will have a staff member outside of them to monitor access and disposable paper towels will be provided. • Hand sanitiser and additional sanitising stations will be available throughout the house. And light switches, door handles, shared surfaces, counter tops and other hard surfaces will be sanitised often. • All of our staff have undertaken COVID-19 Risk Assessment & Implementation courses for Restaurants/Cafes/Gastro Pubs and Hotels approved by the Restaurants Association of Ireland. • Every booking must now be made and paid for in advance, please go to http://poulaphouca.ie/bookings/ and complete your booking. • All bookings will be staggered so as to ensure we are never above our safe capacity. • Every booking will be have a 105 minute window in which to enjoy their meals, if you wish to stay longer and enjoy drinks, you can safely do so in our outdoor spaces.
