Poulaphouca House & Falls are delighted to be able to continue supporting those who are most in need in our community, and with the scale of demand and deserving stories behind those deserving support, we are now upping the quantity to 150 free meals from this week on whilst the crisis continues. So again this week we are offering completely a free meal delivered safely to their door to anyone who is either;
a) vulnerable or elderly;
b) working on the front-line of the fight against COVID in our hospitals, health or public service
We are able to continue our free meals for what will be a 8th consecutive week now thanks to the remarkable support of the many local businesses getting behind the initiative. This week, we are very thankful for the support of Bryko Ltd – http://www.bryko.net/ – Bryko are Ireland’s biggest supplier of bagged aggregates, building materials, flood bags and flood controls, tonne bags, based in Blessington Co. Wicklow.
We would also like to thank our local Garda Síochána in Kilcullen Garda Station who continue to support with our 100 deliveries each week as you might have seen in the video we were asked to appear in here.
The only way to request a free meal for you or someone you know who is more needy in the community is by filling in this simple form here. Due to the scale of interest last week, it is the only way for us to fairly manage the orders for the 100 meals. Please make sure to include the Eircode, it really helps us with delivery.
This week, our 3 Cooks team has come up with this dish for Wednesday, Braised Beef Bourguignon with Creamed Potato. It will be delivered on Wednesaday for those who need it most. For anyone who’d like to try more of our great Poulaphouca food, our Collection and Delivery service details can be found here.
We’ve received a quite overwhelming number of offers of support for the free meals from local businesses, thank you all so much! We have support to keep this going for many weeks now into the future, as always please get in touch with us at email@example.com. We’ll continue to do this and make a positive difference in what is such tough times for the country and our industry.
Thanks again to everyone, please stay safe.
